With sunny August approaching, summer holidays are quickly popping by on the orizon for many (and for me too, yay!) and this can only mean a gathering of stuff to be packed, TO-DO lists and things I want to see. Now, we all know it – whether the destination is beach, mountain or city life, the keyword in beauty is hydration.
However, if you’re anything like me the hottest weeks of the year call for everything but applying thick creams that, hands down, will leave an annoying squishy layer on the skin even hours later. This year therefore, besides moisturizing oils on wet skin, my fast and go-to solution is the Lagoon Moisturising Perfumed Body Mist by Yves Rocher (Acqua Idratante Profumata al Monoï for my Italian pals).
The perfume of this body mist is just divine: you know those scents that take you straight on a white beach with a crystal-clear sea in front? Yep. This product has it all. In fact, the warm and captivating Monoï essence finds its origins in Polynesia, where Tiaré flowers and coconut oil are blended together and macerated in order to create one of the most used beauty products of the Southeast of Asia. Ultimately to me its soul is made of three words: boost of summer.
Besides Monoï, what makes this mist really hydrating is the Aloe Vera enriching it, the result being an alcohol-, paraben- and colourant-free bio formulation. Love love love spraying it after the shower as it is quick to spritz and once absorbed there’s no residue left other than its long-lasting scent. It has a therapeutical effect on my mood too. Given how practical and quick it is to use, this product directly scales up to the top of my travel beauty selection, helped by its pocket size (125ml).
All in all, if you are looking for a super-light, super summer-friendly hydrating solution, Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist gets the double tick from me!
